About us
696 million people still live without access to safe drinking water. For us, this is more than a statistic. It is the reason why Viva con Agua has been in motion since 2006. Water is the basis of life and a human right. Our vision: every person should have access to clean water, hygiene and safe sanitation. We believe this is possible and we work toward it every single day.
Our approach: positive activism
We activate people through the universal languages of music, art and sport. Joyful actions create attention and spark donations that support our WASH projects around the world. WASH stands for water, sanitation and hygiene and strengthens communities in a lasting way.
Over time, a vibrant Viva con Agua ecosystem has grown. Crews in many cities, local teams, strong partners and independent organisations in several countries. All connected by a shared attitude, curiosity and heart.
Join the movement and help our vision grow: Water for all, all for water.

English version:
Water, sanitation, and hygiene aren’t just essential for life – they can also be fun! That’s exactly what the “Battle of the Brains” project in Zambia proved: an interactive school quiz competition under the WASH’n’Soul project.
Nine primary schools in Lusaka went head-to-head, testing their knowledge on clean water, hygiene, menstrual health, and waste management – live on radio, across social media, and with plenty of energy.
Students from grades 5 to 7 rose to the challenge. It wasn’t only about winning points, but also about building connections, learning from each other, and experiencing true empowerment.
The top three schools won funding for new WASH facilities, while all nine received medals and certificates. Best of all, the children themselves help decide how the improvements are made – from better toilets to new handwashing stations.
“Battle of the Brains” is more than just a quiz: it inspires children to practise good hygiene, share their knowledge, and break down taboos around topics like menstruation. With partners like BORDA Zambia, soulbottles, NWASCO, and local radio stations, we’re showing what’s possible when people come together.
