EduCape ist eine eingetragene Non- Profit Organisation mit Sitz in Kapstadt.
EduCape wurde 2009 gegründet.
Ziel der Organisation ist, Jugendlichen aus allen sozialen Schichten Möglichkeiten der Persönlichkeitsentwicklung und vertieften sprachlichen wie literarischen Bildung durch die dramatischen Künste zu eröffnen.
Flaggschiff von EduCape ist das Shakespeare Schools Festival, ein nationalweites Bildungsprogramm und Kunst Event from the youth and for the youth, dessen Grundidee aus Grossbritannien stammt.
EduCape is a registered NPO organization from Cape Town, founded in 2009.
The purpose of EduCape is to bridge the gap between education, literacy, skills and job opportunities with literacy and the dramatic arts as a key focus point in the idea of learning beyond the classroom.
The aim of the organization is, to encourage participation of students from all sectors of the community, in live amateur theatre to enhance their self-realization and esteem.
EduCape’s flagship project is the South African Shakespearean School Festival which is based on the school drama festival of the same name held in the United Kingdom.
