About us
HOPE Kapststadt Stiftung is a registered non-profit organisation based in Germany. It supports the work of the sister organisation HOPE Cape Town in South Africa, whose holistic cycle of life approach focuses on pregnancy to career path, early childhood development, youth, training and education and sustainable livelihoods. HOPE Cape Town is a flexible and dynamic organisation in the sense that it responds to the ever-changing South Africa context and to the needs of its clients. Annually, more than 200,000 people are direct recipients of medical treatment and care, counselling and social services, training and development, education and empowerment provided through the organisation’s various projects. HOPE Cape Town contributes to life changes in its beneficiaries by bridging the gap between grassroots and science through formal partnerships with local facilities and institutions.
HOPE Kapstadt Stiftung is a dependent foundation of the German Aids Foundation governed by German law.

Wir stehen kurz vor Ostern.
Eine Zeit, die für viele für Hoffnung, Aufbruch und neue Perspektiven steht.
Und genau darum geht es auch bei unserem Projekt.
20% unseres Finanzierungsziels für unseren Schutzzaun sind geschafft.
Das ist ein wichtiger Meilenstein, aber eben auch erst der Anfang. Denn hinter diesen 20% steht etwas sehr Konkretes: ein sicherer Ort für Kinder, die hier spielen können, ohne Angst.
Jugendliche, die sich auf ihre Ausbildung konzentrieren können.
Familien, die im Community Garden ihre Lebensgrundlage aufbauen.
Der Zaun ist nicht sichtbar „wirksam“ im klassischen Sinne.
Er ist keine neue Klasse, kein neues Programm. Aber ohne ihn ist all das nicht dauerhaft möglich.
Sicherheit ist die Voraussetzung für alles andere.
Gerade jetzt – in einer Zeit, in der viele bereit sind zu teilen – ist die Chance da, den nächsten großen Schritt zu machen.
