About us
‘Shongkolpo’ is an organization founded in November 2011 with an oath to contribute to the prosperity of Bangladesh. Its core focus lies on achieving self- sufficiency of marginalized people, especially poor and helpless women, by helping them to better struggle against the odds of poverty. One of our main concerns involves how to empower women by enabling them to contribute in all aspect of social as well as family life.
Our organization’s aim is not to provide temporary aid for people, but to make them capable of improving their life standard through meaningful and sustainable interventions like offering training to poor women and giving them the opportunity to work under us.
