About us
Right now we give a loving and peaceful home to 25 orphans and other needy children.
Together with Sister Angela, Sister Veronika and other dedicated local team members the
orphanage ensures education, schooling, a balanced diet, and good accommodation to the children growing up here in the Shanzu area, north of Mombasa/Kenya.
The orphanage was founded by a German visitor, Mrs. Christa Wolff from Berlin, with
the help of Mr. John Owino Ounga from Kenya. On the 9th of January, 2013, Mrs. Christa
Wolff retired from her functions. She handed over the orphanage to the Sisters of St. Joseph, and we are very happy to see how well the children feel under the new
care.

Das Obergeschoss des Waisenhauses konnte dank Eurer / Ihrer Spenden mittlerweile fertiggestellt werden. Im nächsten Schritt sollen verschiedene Bereiche noch eingerichtet werden, insbesondere der Gemeinschaftsraum für die Kinder. Darüber hinaus sind im Erdgeschoss teilweise Renovierungsarbeiten erforderlich. Auch hierfür wird ein Teil des Geldbetrages eingesetzt. Herzlichen Dank an alle Spender.
