About us

The two main activities of Hakuna Matata Deutschland are fundraising for projects realised by Hakuna Matata Kenya and organising a child sponsorship program. There are two types of membership: a free one, just for interest and one for 10 Euros per month, which will be used 100% to support orphaned children living in Isiolo and Meru districts. From these 10 Euros per month the school fees and school materials, food, clothes and basic medical services will be paid. Muriungi Marete, the CEO of Hakuna Matata Kenya personally identifies those children most in need of support.

+ a reliable food source

+ a reliable and safe water supply

+ a means to restore soil fertility and increase resilience to drought and floods

+ education in terms of sustainable living

+ a monetary surplus to help pay for the required infrastructure and necessary investments in the project

+ a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment that helps to overcome past trauma
