About us

The German Foundation for Women’s Health is committed to better care for women – by ensuring that every woman in Germany has access to top-quality, evidence-based medicine.

High-quality healthcare depends on clinical guidelines that define the most effective treatments. But in the area women’s health, these are often missing – especially S3-level guidelines, which represent the highest standard of medical quality and consensus.

We want to change this. We are funding the development of new, top-tier S3 guidelines to close this critical gap. So far, our foundation has funded eleven S3 guidelines and updates, becoming a key driving force in advancing women’s health across Germany.

Each new guideline costs around €100,000 to develop. We are now seeking support for two urgent topics: “Vaccinations During Pregnancy” and “Infertility – Unfulfilled Desire for Children.”
