About us
Chimpanzee Sanctuary & Wildlife Conservation Trust is a non-government organisation that manages Ngamba Island Chimpanzees Sanctuary, a home to over 40 orphaned rescued chimpanzees. The organisation also runs field conservation programs that are geared towards insitu conservation of the chimpanzees. The conservation programs majorly focus on the Albertine Landscape where a large number of chimpanzees exist naturally.
In its conservation efforts, the organisation reaches out to children in school, youths in communities and adults through activities like film shows, exhibitions, tree planting, habitat monitoring; empowering them to monitor their own natural resources.
CSWCT is a non-profit organisation, therefore it depends totally to the generosity of its trustees and donors.

Donations that cannot be used for the project
Dear donors,
when managers of a project haven't requested a payout over the course of a longer period, the German law and our terms of use provide that we (gut.org gemeinnützige AG, operator of betterplace.org) use the money for our tax-deductible purposes. The same applies to the cancellation of a project, where the manager of the project is unable to realize it.
Therefore we will use these donations for the following purposes
