About us
The Khathide Family Foundation has been formed with an overall intention of assisting local people in eradicating some of South Africa’s most critical issues: malnourishment, poverty, unemployment and social inequalities.
Due to recession and many businesses closing down it is of vital importance these issues are tackled now. Typically in black South African families there is one main bread winner and if that person looses their income a lot is lost; the family diet changes, resources for the children decrease, family relationships break down and the functionality of family life is compromised.
Through managing and implementing various programmes and schemes we aim to assist in creating jobs, raising employability, improving standards of health and broadening education opportunities for all.
