About us

Sterntaler für Afrika e.V. is a registered non-profit organization. Since 2008, we have been committed to improving educational opportunities and supporting sustainable development in Africa.Our goal is to work together with local communities to create long-term perspectives and give children opportunities for a self-determined future. Education is therefore at the heart of our work.

Since our foundation, we have built 10 schools in Africa and implemented numerous other educational projects. We work closely with local partners and design our projects according to the specific needs of the communities on the ground.

Why Mali & Togo?
- Mali & Togo are among the least developed countries in the world
- More than 40% of the population is under the age of 15.
- The need for quality educational opportunities is therefore particularly high.

Why Education?
Many children do not have sufficient access to schools.
Classes can be severely overcrowded, with more than 100 students
Basic learning materials such as books, notebooks and pens are often lacking, as are adequate desks and chairs.

Through our projects, we aim to sustainably improve these conditions and give children better opportunities for their future.

100% of your donations go directly towards sustainable projects. All administrative costs are covered by our volunteer board members & supporters. Donations and membership contributions are tax-deductible
