About us
Association für hilfebedürftige Tiere was founded out of a Facebook group. We support local people who are taking care for abandoned animals. We assist with animal feed, veterinary medicine, human food and other material and financial assistance. We are all active volunteers. We are a non-profit organisation.
In the year of founding, in 2012, we took some projects under our support. A large part is located in the Ukraine and is maintained by Natasha Romanenko. Our Romanian projects are coordinated by Franziska Boschert, Dorothee Fischer and Jutta Katsiros. Our project in America is run by Urs Weyermann.

Liebe UnterstützerInnen,
wir wünschen allen ein frohes neues Jahr und hoffen, dass uns keine Kittenschwemme 2025 erreicht. Alle unsere betreuten Tiere haben Silvester verschreckt - aber lebend - überstanden. Ein großer Stein, der uns vom Herzen fiel. Nun geht es gleich aktiv weiter und wir müssen uns um Trockenfutter kümmern, denn es folgen die Nächte, in denen es friert und sich kein Nassfutter halten kann.
