RPDS is registered Non Governmental Organization having all legal entities to serve the community as well as to receive money from the abroad with FCRA registration.
The organization is working for the poorest of the poor in and around Salem District in Tamilnadu. The major activities are poverty alleviation programs, income generation, vocational traiinings, health development - mother and child health, preventive, primary, reproductive health care, Tribal and Dalit development, Health and medical camps, special medical camps on ENT, Vitamin A deficiency, Nutritional education, promotion of kitchen gardens and child development programs.
Special Eye care camps were conducted with leading eye care hospital.

Project Description : We identified that the children are obtaining low marks in subjects and very often they see the black board with closing and opening the eyes. Then it is found out that they have eye and vision problem. So, we decided to check up the eyes and identified 189 students are having complications in visions.
Project came to exist with the support and community participation of parents.
Four people are working on the project.
The school children of selected 25 villages of Valapadi block in Salem district.
