About us

Foundation for Education and Development is a local
organization in Jinja district which aims at providing
education to orphan, needy and disadvantaged children
with great emphasis on girl child by sponsoring them
with school fees and improving their social economic
welfare and that of the community. (FED) understands
that the cause of poverty is not simply lack of money,
more important yet is the lack of confidence in
oneself. (FED) is devoted to fight this through
empowering the marginalized to improve their own
living conditions through the right to knowledge.
Knowledge has power to break the cycle of
poverty.Investing in education means,helping children
live longer,have healthier live,know the risks of
HIV/AIDS,get better jobs and earn a fair
living,participate in decision making,help to lift
their families, communities and eventually their
country out of poverty.We are seeking for organization,individuals to donate to this cause
$10,$20 or more to help us continue supporting the vulnerable children.
