The Hope School, located southwest of Amman, is an institution that welcomes refugee children from Syria and Iraq, as well as vulnerable Jordanian families. The school consists of three kindergarten (KG) classes, providing children with a positive start in their educational journey.

Mission and Impact
One of the great achievements of these classes is to give children a positive beginning to their education. Academic subjects are taught according to the Jordanian Ministry of Education’s curriculum, but a focus is also placed on social interaction skills. This helps reduce tensions between refugees and the local population, a significant issue in Jordan.

To understand the financial needs of the school, here is a breakdown of the monthly costs:

Teachers’ salaries (3 kindergarten teachers at 180 JD each): 540 JD
School bus driver: 180 JD
• Fuel for the school bus: 230 JD
• Food for the children: 120 JD
• Utilities, internet, and maintenance: 100 JD

Annual costs include:

Bus maintenance and licensing: 1000 JD
Books and teaching materials: 650 JD

Extracurricular Activities

Activities like arts, sports, and reading clubs are organized to promote holistic development and personal growth for the students.

Parental Engagement

Workshops
and informational sessions are regularly organized for parents to involve them in their children’s education and strengthen community ties.
