Für C•A•N - wie für die meisten von uns - stand das Jahr 2o2o im Zeichen der CORONA PANDEMIE. 

Ursprünglich wollten wir nach Asien reisen, um im JEEWAN UTTHAN CHILDREN'S HOME in Nepal 🇳🇵  eine BIBLIOTHEK zu bauen und um uns um unsere Projekte in Indien zu kümmern. 

Aber wegen Corona kam alles anders. 

Stattdessen haben wir im JEEWAN UTTHAN CHILDREN'S HOME in Nepal 🇳🇵 eine BIBLIOTHEK gebaut und uns um unsere Projekte in Indien 🇮🇳  gekümmert (aus dem HomeOffice). 

🇮🇳 Gemeinsam mit unserem C•A•N ACTION TEAM in ASTHA KIRAN haben wir die #CoronaKaruna Action ins Leben gerufen und über 800 FAMILIEN durch den harten Lockdown mit Not-Rationen unterstützt, damit sie nicht hungern mussten.

🇳🇵 Anstatt (wie geplant) den Bau der Bibliothek in Nepal durch eine Spendenkampagne vor Ort zu finanzieren, haben wir sie aus dem LET-LOVE-RULE-FUND von Hans Sig bezahlt. 🙏 VIELEN DANK, Hans !!!

Ihr könnt Eure SPENDEN-GESCHENKE der Verwirklichung dieser Projekte widmen:

🇮🇳 Damit die Bildung unserer Schulmädchen in der NAI ROSHNI SLUM SCHULE nicht zu sehr unter den Folgen der Pandemie leidet, wollen wir sie mit LERN-MATERIALIEN ausstatten. Ein Set kostet 20€.  

🇳🇵 Das Gebäude steht. Jetzt brauen wir Stühle, Tische und Bücherregale für unsere CAN-BIBLIOTHEK in Nepal.

Zur Orientierung: ein gepolsterter Stuhl kostet 15€. Aber spendet jeden Betrag, den Ihr wollt.

🇹🇿 In Tansania könnt Ihr - wie auch in den letzten 4 Jahren - mit 40€ einen BIENENSTÖCK finanzieren, der Elefanten schützt und die friedliche Co-Existenz zwischen Elefanten und Bauern ermöglicht. Euer Bienenstock wird dann - von unserem Partner STEP - 2012 gebaut, beschriftet und an einen BienenStockZaun gehängt werden, und Ihr werdet ein Bild von diesem Bienenstock bekommen, auf dem der Name der Person steht, der Ihr ihn widmet.

For C•A•N - like for many of us - the year 2o2o was determined by CORONA.

Initially we wanted to do a C•A•N ASIA TOUR and build a LIBRARY at JEEWAN UTTHAN CHILDREN'S HOME in Nepal 🇳🇵 and look after our projects in INDIA 🇮🇳.

But then came the pandemic and we couldn't travel.

So what we did instead was:

We built a LIBRARY at JEEWAN UTTHAN CHILDREN'S HOME in Nepal 🇳🇵and we looked after our projects in INDIA 🇮🇳 (out of the HomeOffice). 

🇮🇳 Together with our C•A•N ACTION TEAM at ASTHA KIRAN we started the #CoronaKaruna Campaign - defeat CORONA with KARUNA (Love 💖).
Our C•A•N community donated over 8000€, and together we supported over 800 families through the lockdown in Lucknow and with essential food provisions making sure they don't have to starve.

🇳🇵 Instead of traveling to Nepal and conducting an on-site-fundraising-campaign (as planed) we financed the building of the library from Hans Sigl's LET-LOVE-RULE-FUND. 🙏 THANK YOU, HANS !!! 

🌟 In this season's CAN-Xmas Campaign we continue these efforts. 🌟🎄🎅

🇮🇳 Providing our school girls at ASTHA KIRAN with essential STUDY MATERIAL KITS for remote learning, to make sure that their education doesn't fall too far behind in these difficult times of Corona. One Kit cost 20€.

🇳🇵 The Library Building is finished. Now we need chairs and tables and book shelves. A chair costs 15€ - but please donate any amount you want.

🇹🇿 Just like the last 4 years you can sponsor a BEE HIVE in Tanzania - for 40€ - that will SAVE ELEPHANTS by ensuring peaceful Human-Elephant-Coexistance. These hives will be built, tagged, and hung on fences by our partner STEP in the course of 2021 and you will receive a picture of the BEE HIVE with the name of the person you dedicate this present to.
