🇩🇪 Mein nächstes Ultracycling-Abenteuer: NorthCape4000 – Mit dem Rad für Straßenkinder in Malabon

Liebe Unterstützerinnen und Unterstützer,

bald ist es wieder so weit – ich starte zu meinem nächsten großen Ultracycling-Abenteuer: dem NorthCape4000. Dieses außergewöhnliche Rennen führt über rund 4.000 Kilometer quer durch Europa, vom Herzen Italiens bis hinauf zum nördlichsten Punkt des Kontinents – dem Nordkap in Norwegen. Ohne Begleitfahrzeug, auf mich allein gestellt, durchquere ich zahlreiche Länder, unterschiedliche Klimazonen und spektakuläre Landschaften.

Doch dieses Rennen ist für mich mehr als eine sportliche Herausforderung – es ist eine Herzensangelegenheit.Wie auch bei meinen bisherigen Touren sammle ich Spenden für ein Projekt, das mir besonders am Herzen liegt: das Straßenkinderprojekt in Malabon, einem Armenviertel in Manila, der Hauptstadt der Philippinen.In den Slums von Manila und insbesondere in Malabon leben viele Kinder unter extrem schwierigen Bedingungen. Oft ohne festen Wohnsitz, ohne gesicherte Ernährung und ohne Zugang zu Bildung sind sie dem täglichen Überlebenskampf ausgeliefert. Gewalt, Krankheiten und Perspektivlosigkeit prägen ihren Alltag.

Das von mir unterstützte Projekt hilft diesen Kindern mit ganz konkreten Maßnahmen:

• Täglich frisch zubereitete Mahlzeiten, damit sie gesund und kräftig bleiben.
• Betreuung durch engagierte Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter, die sich Zeit nehmen und ein sicheres Umfeld bieten.
• Bildung und Schulunterricht, um langfristig einen Ausweg aus der Armut zu ermöglichen.

Mit eurer Hilfe können wir diesen Kindern Hoffnung und eine echte Zukunft schenken.

🇺🇸 My next ultracycling adventure: NorthCape4000 – Cycling for street children in Malabon

Dear supporters,

It's almost time again – I'm setting off on my next big ultracycling adventure: the NorthCape4000. This extraordinary race covers around 4,000 kilometers across Europe, from the heart of Italy to the northernmost point of the continent – the North Cape in Norway.

Without a support vehicle, on my own, I will cross numerous countries, different climate zones, and spectacular landscapes.But this race is more than just a sporting challenge for me – it is a matter close to my heart.

As with my previous tours, I am collecting donations for a project that is particularly close to my heart: the street children project in Malabon, a poor district in Manila, the capital of the Philippines.In the slums of Manila, and especially in Malabon, many children live in extremely difficult conditions. Often without a permanent home, without a secure food supply, and without access to education, they are left to fight for survival on a daily basis. Violence, disease, and a lack of prospects characterize their everyday lives.

The project I support helps these children with very concrete measures:

• Freshly prepared meals every day to keep them healthy and strong.
• Care from dedicated staff who take the time to provide a safe environment.
• Education and schooling to enable them to escape poverty in the long term.

With your help, we can give these children hope and a real future.
