ZUT Run for Children in need

In exactly one week, on June 13 at 22:00 I’ll cross the starting line for the Zugspitz Ultratrail. A 106km run, with 5,293M of elevation gain. I want to use the event to raise money for the Munich Children’s Hospice (Stiftung Ambulantes Kinderhospiz München - AKM), which supports children that have been diagnosed with an incurable disease. Whoever has experienced something like this, knows that this can completely derail you, if you don’t have family, friends or other people around you to support you. The team at AKM is doing exactly that and I have the utmost respect for their work. Being willing and able to support children and their families during these times, which will likely be the toughest anyone can go through, is just incredible.

 

You can donate until I have crossed the finish line, which will hopefully happen (well) below the 20-hour mark on June 14. In addition to the running, I will commit to personally double the total amount raised. Not the largest single donation but the total amount.
