Stronger Together: Battle Cancer, Rep by Rep

Hi everyone! 💪🏻

We are Luisa, Jasmin, Bradley, and Tony, aka "The Cleaning Jerks." We are four CrossFit enthusiasts who have decided to join forces this year to give cancer a mighty kick in the butt.

To make a real impact, we're not just raising funds—we're also putting our strength to the test by participating in Battle Cancer, a charity-driven fitness competition. Battle Cancer is a unique event that brings together athletes from all over the world to support cancer charities through high-energy, team-based workouts. It's a competition where the focus isn't just on winning, but on pushing ourselves to the limit for a cause that truly matters.

The workouts are intense, combining elements of CrossFit with other functional fitness movements, but the real victory comes from knowing that every rep, every drop of sweat, and every moment of teamwork helps to raise funds and awareness for cancer support.

This year, we’re dedicating our participation to the Deutsche Kinderkrebsstiftung (German Childhood Cancer Foundation). Despite medical advances, cancer in children and adolescents is still not curable in every case. Two out of ten sufferers die from cancer. The German Childhood Cancer Foundation stands by those affected and their families from diagnosis, through treatment, and far beyond. They offer information, counseling, and help in financial emergencies, and they also fund research projects to improve treatment methods and chances of recovery. Their goal is to give these children a hopeful future worth living.
