Hiking & biking for the PATRIZIA School Bafia

My goal: this year, together with more than 80 dedicated colleagues at PATRIZIA SE I am supporting the ambitious fundraising „PATRIZIA Chamonix Adventure Challenge 2024“ for PATRIZIA Foundations School Bafia project. In September we will be biking & hiking in Chamonix in the center of Europe.

A School of Hope for Bafia

Bafia, located in northern Cameroon, faces significant challenges amidst minimal economic activity and frequent droughts that hinder agriculture. The community grapples with socio-economic disparities, hindering access to quality education and infrastructure.

Moreover, Bafia contends with conflicts between English and French speakers, compounded by religious tensions. Substance abuse among mothers contributes to a disproportionate number of children with cognitive disabilities.

In response to these multifaceted challenges, we are launching the transformative PATRIZIA School Bafia project.

This initiative aims to provide a beacon of hope in Bafia by establishing a safe and inclusive learning environment for children, including those with cognitive disabilities.
