Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières strive to provide effective humanitarian aid in crisis regions independently, impartially and as neutrally as possible.

At the same time, the organization also sees “witnessing” as an important task in the context of emergency medical aid. Witnessing means drawing attention to peoples in need and, in MSF's opinion, a trade-off may be necessary between witnessing and neutrality in practical humanitarian work, which may make it necessary to give up neutrality in individual cases.

Ärzte ohne Grenzen /  Médecins Sans Frontières sind  bestrebt, unabhängig, unparteiisch und so neutral wie möglich in Krisenregionen wirkungsvoll humanitäre Hilfe zu leisten.
Gleichzeitig sieht die Organisation auch das „Witnessing“ im Rahmen der medizinischen Nothilfe als eine wichtige Aufgabe. Witnessing bedeutet, auf Völker in Not aufmerksam zu machen und Nach Meinung von MSF ist zwischen Witnessing und Neutralität in der praktischen humanitären Arbeit unter Umständen eine Abwägung notwendig, die im Einzelfall eine Aufgabe der Neutralität notwendig macht.

In unserer Zeit, in der sich Konflikte stark Radikalisieren und viele Krisen wenig mediale Aufmerksamkeit bekommen, finden wir genau diesen Neutralen aber Engagierten Ansatz so Wichtig. Deshalb helft uns bitte Ärzte ohne Grenzen / MSF mit eurer Spende zu Unterstützen.
