Help the Gazan Couple’s rebuild our future

Hi, I am Ohood, Doctor From Gaza .I got engaged to Mohammed on May 3, 2023, and our marriage was supposed to be on the first day of the month 11 .

As a young couple from Gaza, we suffered a lot To build a beautiful home

We were very happy to start our new life together. We put all our savings in buying a small apartment, where we hoped to raise a family one day.

Before the war, we lived a modest but satisfactory life. I am a general practitioner who works in the emergency room of Al-Najjar Hospital. During the war, I was and still am at the helm of my job, despite the expiration of my contract at the end of the month of 12. Now I work as a volunteer, and my fiancé is also a general practitioner works at a medical point in a school , He also completed the PLAP1 exam and was preparing himself for the PLAP2 exam.

But our dreams were shattered when the Israeli airstrikes began , Everything is gone now and we are left with nothing. 

We want to escape this nightmare. We want to leave Gaza and find a safe place where we can rebuild our lives. We want to have a future, a hope, a chance. But we can't do it alone. We need your help.

The only way out of Gaza is through Egypt, but the border is closed and the fees are exorbitant. We need $7000-$9000 each to pay for the evacuation, plus some extra money to cover our expenses in Egypt until we can find a permanent destination. We are hoping to travel to a country that will welcome us as refugees and allow us to work and live in peace.

We know there are many other causes that need your attention and your generosity. We know we are not the only ones who are suffering and struggling. But we are also human beings, who deserve dignity and respect. We are also hopeful that there is a better world out there, where we can live in harmony and freedom.
