Hike4Change: Scaling Peaks, Changing Lives!

On 18th September,  we will be taking on the challenge of hiking 50km up the mountains of Mallorca over two days to support the extension of the PATRIZIA School Sondoveni in the Peruvian rainforest. Our goal is to raise €130,000 to make a lasting impact on the education and future of children in and around the indigenous village of Sondoveni. This will allow children to be offered a good education, a community centre for the village and a general place of refuge. Funds raised for the challenge will go towards the construction work which was finished already spring 2023. 100% of the proceeds from the challenge will go to our project in Peru. 

Since its inception in 2013 with just three classrooms for 5 grades, the PATRIZIA School Sondoveni in Peru has evolved into a comprehensive educational institution, complete with 5 classrooms, a community area, a drinking water filter system, and accommodation for teachers, to meet the educational needs of the surrounding communities after new construction in spring 2023.
