Birthday fundraiser for the Mindfulness Project

Lieve vrienden, 

16 juni ben ik jarig en omdat ik dan nog steeds in zuid oost Azië ben wil ik iets speciaals doen! 

De meesten van jullie weten dat ik de afgelopen weken vrijwilligerswerk heb gedaan en heb gewerkt als yogaleraar in het Mindfulness Project. Het mindfullness project is echt een transformerende ervaring voor mij geweest. Het heeft mij zó veel geleerd over (zelf)liefde, compassie, leven in een community en hoe we de wereld kunnen verbeteren door middel van eerst naar binnen te kijken door zo ook je directe omgeving te kunnen veranderen. Naast dit alles helpen ze ook nog met herbebossing in samenwerking met lokale kloosters, steunen het hondenasiel en het weeshuis in Khon Kaen, en vele andere sociale projecten. Christian en Anja (oprichters) helpen zoveel mensen om hen heen (incl ik!!) en nu wil ik graag iets terug doen.

Door geldproblemen van de eigenaren van het land wat ze huren worden ze er af gekickt en moeten ze verhuizen. Gelukkig hebben ze het mooiste land gevonden dat je je kunt voorstellen om het project daar weer op te starten. Een echte droom is in de maak. Maar ze hebben hulp nodig met de fundraising voor het land. 

Dus het zou een super cadeau voor mij zijn als jullie een steentje zouden willen bijdrage! Groot of klein alles is welkom 🤗 
Dit kan het verschil betekenen voor de voortzetting van het mindfullness project!! En aangezien ik zoo erg achter hen en hun visie sta, zou ik geen wereld zonder willen.

Hey lovely friends and family!

My birthday is coming up (16th of June) and because of that I want to do something special! 

Most of you know that I have spend the last weeks volunteering and working as a Yoga teacher in the Mindfulness Project. This project has deeply touched my heart and has helped me in so many ways. It is a healing place for people, the environment and anybody who comes in touch with it. In the project we are not only working on personal growth and love for yourself and the world around you, but are also helping with reforestation in cooperation with local monestaries, playing with dogs in the dogshelter and teaching kids in the orphanage in Khon Kaen, and many other social projects. Christian and Anja (founders) are helping so so many people around them incl me and now I would love to give them something back. 

They have lost their land and are forced to move. Luckily they found the most beautiful land you can imagine to restart the project there. A real dream is in the making. But they need help!  

So I would love to ask all of you, as my birthday present, to support them as much as you can! Small or big, everything helps :) This could mean the difference for continuation of the mindfullness project!! And as I fell in love with them and their vision, I wouldn’t want a world without.
