Please support our mission to rescue and rehabilitate Long-Tailed Macaques.
We are a rescue and rehabilitation centre for abused Long Tailed Macaques. With the assistance of BAWA - Bali Animal Welfare Association, they sent their rescue team for monkeys to be transferred to us at Bali Monkey Rescue. Both organisations are committed to stopping the wildlife trade. All rescue monkeys remain under our protection and care from harm.
Every year approximately 3000 Macaque babies are stolen by illegal wildlife traders. The lack of proper education forces the cruellest way of life onto baby monkeys stolen by poachers. As the mother lies dying, her baby is snatched from her arms to face an uncertain future living in small cages, teased, tortured with inadequate food sources, and deprived of social interactions with their kind in their natural habitat.
We are self-funded, so please, champion our cause by sponsorship or a care gift of a donation to rescue and rehabilitate Long Tailed Macaques of Bali.
