Vic runs Berlin in support of Achilles Kids

Running has given me so much - calm, community, goals to achieve, challenges to overcome, lifelong friends to share countless miles with. It’s often easy to take it for granted.

In effort to pay forward something I’ve been fortunate to do from an early age, I am running the 2022 Berlin Marathon this September in support of Achilles Kids, by Achilles International Germany.

Physical activity is an important part of every child’s healthy development. But for children with disabilities, it’s more important than you think. Children with disabilities who participate in the right exercise program show improved quality of life, greater aerobic capacity, and better function.

Both Achilles International Germany and I thank you for your contribution, every donation counts and gives kids the chance to have that finish line feeling, whatever form it may take.
