Hiking for PATRIZIA Primary School Songea,Tanzania

In September 2022 together with other colleagues from PATRIZIA we will climb the "Wendelstein" (a mountain in the Bavarian Alps of 1838m) to collect money for the PATRIZIA Primary School in Songea, Tanzania.

The PATRIZIA Primary School in Songea, can accommodate  up  to  560  children  from  preschool to grade seven each school year. The school  has  already  been  built  in  two construction phases from 2018 to 2020, but

still  needs  to  be  financed.  Planned  as  a single-storey building, fewer rooms were built initially.  With  the  construction  of  a  second floor,  the  number  of  classrooms  could  be increased  to  14,  and  a  community  hall  is already being planned. The school offers an infirmary, a library and adequate security for children.  The  donations  collected  at  the Bavarian  Peaks  Challenge  2022  will  enable the school to operate independently, as it is run without government support.
