Stray animals in this town need you NOW now 
 
 I am Sapna Thomas, I am a Healer an animal welfare action taker and I started an animal welfare unit in a scenic beach location called a Malvan, back in 2019. 
 
 This place is located on the coastal stretch 60 kms North of Goa, but as its across the border all amenities and welfare campaigns stop at the border.
 
 For years there have been no Rescuers, no volunteers and no feeders in these areas, and when I started I was appaled at the sight of the beach littered with dogs infected with Mange, mom's spreading it to the babies. 
 So many animals either hobbling around after accidents or carrying deep maggot wounds
 
 There has been thus far no or very less cooperation from govt bodies in terms of providing any kind of care homes or rehabilitation spaces 
 
 We have started a animal welfare unit in 2019 and i medicate ailing dogs and through challenges we kept our work going through the Pandemic but now we are at a threshold of a serious need to expand on the existing place.
 
 My daughter has completed her veterinary assistant course from WVS which is (world veterinary society) 
and therefore we started medicated ailing dogs on the beach stretches by ourselves... I am a single parent and both of us have managed to keep this hoping for 3 years, the town people were initially not stray animal friendly and here have been many challenging situations, of threats and harassment.
 
 Over time as our treatment started showing positive results on stray animals more and more people have started approaching us for medication and Compassionate treatments and care for the animals living around their homes.
 
 As lack of any resource often does, this town had borne a couple of quacks meanwhile who owned businesses that dealt with animal products and with the limited knowledge they had they used to inject and medicate several animals with the intention of prolonging the problem so as to make money out of he creatures pain ... then selling of the products of off their shelf.
 
 We had to put an end to many such inhuman practices including mass poisoning of stray dogs when the population grew and tourists season was approaching. 
 
 We have spent many months creating and spreading awareness... with the locals creating education campaigns and drives that will create awareness of the crucial need of a more humane approach towards animals.
 
 We need to expand, we need the space to take in more animals who can heal and recover. 
 We need a safe spot to be able to conduct surgeries for ethical population control and ABC drives (which has been non existent in these parts)
 
 We need a place to allow for post op care for 3-5 days gor those who have undergone those surgeries. 
 
 We have identified some beautiful plots of land... 
 Where we could set up this entire project... kindly cine forward in helping us raise the required funds towards this cause.

 [ ] Together we can put an end to the mass poisoning of animals that has been rampant in these parts only because there is no one to talk for the animals
