#standwithukraine - Camino por la paz

Bevor Mimi (fast 6) in diesem Sommer in die Schule kommt, machen wir uns gemeinsam als Mama-Tochter Abenteuer Ende April auf den Weg und pilgern auf dem Camino Inglés von Ferrol nach Santiago de Compostela und vielleicht noch weiter bis ans Ende der Welt ans Kap Finisterre.

Wir freuen uns sehr über eure Unterstützung. Denn wir wollen nicht nur für uns selbst pilgern, sondern für den guten Zweck!
Da uns die aktuelle Situation in der Ukraine sehr beschäftigt, haben wir uns für verschiedene Projekte entschieden, die wir gerne unterstützen möchten.

Auf einem ersten Probepilgern im Umland von Berlin sind wir durch Lobetal gelaufen. Die Via Imperii führt direkt an der Ukraine-Hilfe Lobetal (cura hominum e.V.) vorbei. Daher haben wir uns das Projekt „UKRAINE Hilfe 2022 - für Menschen auf der Flucht und im Kriegsgebiet“ von UKRAINE-Hilfe Lobetal ausgesucht, da uns deren Einsatz mit stetigen Hilfstransporten in die Kriegsregion sehr am Herzen liegt. Sowohl wir, als auch UKRAINE-Hilfe Lobetal (cura hominum e.V.) freuen uns über deinen Support, denn jeder noch so kleine Betrag hilft!

Ebenso entsetzt sind wir darüber, welchem Rassismus afrikanische Studierende und Bi_PoC auf ihrer Flucht aus der Ukraine ausgesetzt sind.
Daher möchten wir ein weiteres Projetzt unterstützen: das "tubman.network", ein Bündnis Schwarzer Organisationen und Verbündeter. Es wurde von Afrikanischen und Afro-diasporischen Verbänden, sowie von Schwarzen Menschen geführten Unternehmen ins Leben gerufen. Seitdem hat das Tubman Network mit über 800 Ehrenamtlichen Zugang zu Evakuierungen, medizinischer Versorgung, Lebensmitteln, Kleidung, Hygieneartikeln und Rechtsberatung organisiert und mehr als 1200 Geflüchteten aus der Ukraine Unterkünfte vermittelt.

Before Mimi (almost 6) starts school this summer, we will set out together as a mama-daughter adventure at the end of April and walk the Camino Inglés from Ferrol to Santiago de Compostela. Maybe, we can go even further to the "end of the world", to Cape Finisterre.
 
We are very happy about your support. Because we don't want to be pilgrims just for ourselves, but for a good cause!
Since we are very concerned about the current situation in Ukraine, we have decided on several projects that we would like to support.

We did a first test hike in the surroundings of Berlin. The Via Imperii passes directly by the NGO "Ukraine-Hilfe Lobetal" (cura hominum e.V.). Therefore we chose this project that is supporting people of Ukraine who are on the run or stuck in the war zone. Ukraine-Hilfe Lobetal constantly organises aid transports to the war region is very close to our hearts. We, as well as UKRAINE-Hilfe Lobetal (cura hominum e.V.) are happy about your support, because every little amount helps!

We are equally appalled by the racism that African students and Bi_PoC are had to face while trying to flee from Ukraine.
Therefore, we would like to support another project: the "tubman.network", an alliance of Black organisations and allies. It was created by African and Afro-diasporic associations, as well as Black-owned businesses. Since then, with over 800 volunteers, the Tubman Network has organised access to evacuations, medical care, food, clothing, hygiene items and legal advice, and provided accommodation for over 1200 refugees from Ukraine.
