Helping Ukraine

Last week, the Russian government began a large-scale invasion of Ukraine. While the attack initially focused on military targets, Russian military units are continuously moving towards city centres of larger metropolitan areas, which is increasingly affecting the civilian population. The death count, both military and civilian, is continuously increasing, and although the people of Ukraine are heroically resisting the attack of a much larger country, many who are unable to flee are being forced to barricade themselves in bathrooms and basements, with necessary supplies slowly running out. 

It would be amazing if you could contribute whatever you feel comfortable giving – every little bit helps and could be life-saving. Donations are going to the Ukraine emergency fund by the German Red Cross, who are supporting their Ukrainian sister organisation with humanitarian aid on the ground.
