Amelia's Fundraising for SHARK Conservation

I have chosen the citizens initiative “STOP FINNING - STOP THE TRADE” by StopFinningEU because of the importance of sharks in the sea ecosystem of Europe. Tons of sharks are exported each year from the EU to Asia becaus etheir fins are a made into the famous shark fin soup. Most trade is illegal as it's hard to control which species are exported, leading to many species becoming endangered.
