Julians Spenderkreis - Aminu Initiative e.V.

Man kann alleine die Erde nicht verändern, aber zusammen können wir mindestens ein kleines Teil von ihr zu einem besseren Ort machen. Und wie? Indem wir die Aminu Initiative e.V. bei dem Projekt „Bildungsgerechtigkeit, Freiwilligendienst & Interkultureller Austausch (21)“ unterstützen. 

Seit mehreren Jahren ist diese Organisation in dem westafrikanischen Land Ghana tätig. Ich habe sie ausgewählt, weil mich ihre Leidenschaft und Bestreben nach höheren Zielen beeindruckte. Ich bin somit sicher, dass die Spenden zum guten Nutzen gehen werden. Das Geld wird benötigt, um vielen jungen Menschen durch Zugang zu Bildung einen besseren Start ins Leben zu ermöglichen. Darüber hinaus entsendetet die Aminu Initiative Freiwillige in Rahmen des entwicklungspolitischen Freiwilligendienst „weltwärts“ in das Land. Auf diese Weise können nicht bloß viele Jugendliche sich für das Gemeinwohl einsetzen, sondern es bilden sich feste Beziehungen zwischen den Völkern, wobei beide Seiten viel von einander lernen können.  

Der Freiwilligendienst ist eine wertvolle Erfahrung. Leider, sind sie ebenfalls mit einigen Kosten verbunden. 75% von dieser werden durch das Ministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung übernommen. Die verbliebene 25% müssen durch meine Entsendeorganisation – die Aminu Initiative e.V. – gedeckt werden. Wohltätigkeitsorganisationen verfügen jedoch über bemessene Mittel und diese werden direkt im Einsatzland dringend benötigt. Aus diesem Grund versuchen Freiwillige einen Spenderkreis aufzubauen, um die Aminu Initiative bei den Kosten zu unterstützen.

Ich bin ein diesjähriger Abiturient, der beschlossen hat das nächste Jahr der Freiwilligenarbeit in Ghana zu widmen. Meine Arbeit wird am 17. Oktober 2021 beginnen und am 31. August 2022 enden. In der Zeit führt meine Reise nach Accra, der Hauptstadt von Ghana. Dort werde ich im ZongoVation Hub arbeiten, wo ich Deutsch und Computerkenntnisse unterrichten werde.

What is my goal?

You can’t change the Earth on your own, but together we can make at least a small part of it a better place. And how? By supporting the Aminu Initiative e. V. in the project “Education Equity, Voluntary Service & Intercultural Exchange (21) . ”

This organisation has been active in the West African country of Ghana for several years. I chose her because I was impressed by her passion and desire for higher goals. I am therefore sure that the donations will be of good use. The money is needed to give many young people a better start in life through access to education. In addition, the Aminu Initiative sends volunteers to the country as part of the developmental voluntary service “weltwärts. ” In this way, not only can many young people commit themselves to the common good, but also strong relationships are formed between peoples, whereby both sides can learn a great deal from each other.

Volunteering is a valuable experience. Unfortunately, they are also associated with some costs. 75% of this is taken over by the Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development. The remaining 25% must be covered by my sending organisation – the Aminu Initiative e. V. However, charities don't have considerable financial means and they are urgently needed right in the country of operation. For this reason, volunteers are trying to set up a donor circle to support the Aminu Initiative with its costs.

Who am I?

I am a High School Graduate of this year who has decided to dedicate the next year to volunteer work in Ghana. My work will begin on October 17, 2021 and end on August 31, 2022. My journey leads to Accra, the capital of Ghana. There I will work at the ZongoVation Hub, where I will teach German and Computer Science.
