Go Beyond! - Kick-Off Event

The COVID-19 pandemic has been dominating our lives for months and is having a negative impact on many areas of life worldwide. Many children and young people in southern Africa are particularly hard hit, as they no longer have access to education. Due to the pandemic, the goal of educational justice, a goal GoAhead! has been committed to for almost 15 years, seems to be far away. However, our long-standing local partner organisations in South Africa, Uganda and Zambia have found ways to continue to provide children and young people with access to education. 

With the "Go Beyond!" campaign, Go Ahead! e.V. wants to start precisely here and support these solutions. For this reason, we organise various activities over a period of 12 months to draw attention to the issue, provide insights into the work on the ground and collect donations for our partner organisations and their activities. This involves, for example, the introduction of new hygiene concepts or digital options to maintain educational activities in the short term - but also measures to strengthen the resilience of children and young people in the long term, e.g. through improved access to digital learning opportunities.
