The coronavirus is all around us at any time. It's frightening, and the preventive measures can be seen and felt everywhere.
I myself have been complaining about studying from home in an online semester, and heard countless complains about job loss, social isolation or even not being able to go to a restaurant.
While all these complaints might be justified, I've chosen to start a fundraising event for this project by UNICEF to remind myself and everyone of the effects the pandemic had and has on people that are suffering from more severe causes. People that are helpless against the virus and can do nothing to protect themselves from it.

While the coronavirus threatens us all, there are children and families who find it particularly difficult to protect themselves in these times. For example those who live as refugees in a camp in Syria, Greece or in a Rohingya camp in Bangladesh - Places where keeping your distance is almost impossible.
Children who do not have access to clean water and soap who share sanitary facilities with hundreds of other people are at particular risk.

With your donation you can help children and families worldwide to protect themselves against the coronavirus. UNICEF provides seemingly simple items like soap that are in desperate need, and also does a lot of educational work around the topic to teach people how to protect themselves against the virus.
