12 hours of cycling - helping children fly again

The challenge:

- 12 hours MTB European Championships - Saturday, 27 July 2019     (Schatzbergrennen, Diessen am Ammersee, Bavaria) 
- single starter
- finish as much laps as possible
- each lap covers 7,2 km (4.4 miles) with 130m (142 yards) elevation
- the rider with the most laps will win 

The equipment:

single speed MTB hardtail (a mountain bike without any gears or shifters and only front suspension)

The purpose:

supporting the photo project from the  "Förderverein Bildung für Kranke Kinder & Jugendliche München e.V."

Description of the purpose:

I am going to participate in a 12 hours mountain bike race to support the "Förderverein Bildung für Kranke Kinder & Jugendliche München e.V.", a charitable organization dedicated to support children which suffer from long lasting hospitalizations. One primary focus is supporting children with educational services (like teachers joining the kids in the hospital) to enable them keeping pace with the schools syllabus, despite the reason that they are not in school. Furthermore they donate toys and other equipment for the young patients to shorten the perceived time spent in hospital and support creative art projects. 
In short words: They support the children to take off again after an early setback in life. 

With my 12 hours race I want to raise awareness for this noble cause and their ongoing photo project.
