Team Asha Frakfurt Marathon 2018 - Kerala Floods

I am running this years Frankfurt Relay Marathon event with Team Asha. We are a total of 7 teams (4 runners per team) and 3 full marathon runners.
This year, with all of you, i would like to support the tribal children in Wayanad region in Kerala who lost everything during floods.

This year Kerala state in India have witnessed biggest floods in its history. More than 300 lives have lost, more than 800,000 people are displaced. 
All the families in tribal regions lost everything including children learning material. As most of the families have very less means of livelihood, buying learning materials are the last thing families want to do.

Funds through Marathon fundraising will be utilized to provide living(dress, footwear, bedding) and learning materials (books, note books, stationary) for the children. There are about 200 children and the yearly expense for one child is INR 18000 (approx. € 220). 

My goal is to support 4 children (which is 880 Euros). Please join me to achieve this goal by donating generously to a good cause.

Apart from helping the children to get back to school as soon as possible after devastating floods, through this project we would like to show solidarity to the people in the remote region that they are not alone.
