Worum es geht
100% of all donations go directly to the Moebius Syndrom Deutschland e.V.. The association is funded purely by donations and membership fees. A main goal of the organization is full social acceptance of people with Moebius syndrome by supporting their unlimited integration. Its main activities are consulting services for patient, networking and initiation as well as supporting scientific projects.
The Moebius Syndrome
The Moebius syndrome is a rare congenital disease resulting from ill-developed or missing brain nerves. The main characteristic is a paralysis of the sixth and seventh brain nerve. In most documented cases this results in a paralysis of the face and eye-muscles that can be accompanied by various other anomalies.

... is the Father-Daugther duo Karlheinz and Constanze Weigel. For years Constanze has been supporting the „Verein Moebius Syndrom Deutschland e.V.”, an association for people concerned with the Moebius syndrome. As an affected person herself, she knows about the difficulties that patients face. Therefore, she is campaigning to make the syndrome more known and for more acceptance of patients in their daily lives.
In the summer of 2017 this team is competing in the „Baltic Sea Circle" to raise funds.
This spectacular rally is a tour circling the Baltic sea off-side highways; without a GPS in a car that is older than 20 years: 7500 km, 10 countries in just 16 days.
