Team 36 -Clemens & Agneta Lansing- will be driving the Rally of the Incas. This is a classic car rally of 9.677 km through Argentina, Chile & Peru. We'll start on November 13th 2016 in Buenos Aires and hope to finish on 9th December in Lima, Peru.
This rally will be an unforgettable adventure, experience and challenge for us. It's not just about rallying but it is also about supporting Sternenbrücke, a children hospice in Hamburg, Germany
"We cannot add days to life, but we can add life to days".
The world comes to a standstill when you hear: "There is nothing else we can do for your child...".
The Sternenbrücke children's hospice provides respite care for affected families for at least 28 days a year during the long period of illness, to give them the opportunity to recuperate and gain new strength. The Sternenbrücke also supports the families during the final stage of a child's life and after the loss of a child.
Agneta went to Sternenbrücke in September and took photos of the children and their families to capture precious and memorable moments. Happy moments despite the circumstances.
"I was overwhelmed by the warmth, the bravery and the unconditional love spread all over the place and the relaxed atmosphere. I can totally understand why children’s hospices are so much needed in our world".
"I am always hunting for an unique image full of depth and reality. Emotion, dignity and authenticity. Over the years I became kind of a specialist to discover the beauty where it might be hidden for a lot of eyes. My aim is to take many beautiful shots during the Rally of the Incas and to give them to all those who are interested in my photos and who want to join us in supporting Sternenbrücke.
"I would be so fulfilled if my pictures could enhance the lives of very sick children and their families. To add some peaceful moments to their precious lives towards the end of their journey. To give some quality time and tranquility to these little heroes that I so much admire".
