My 23. Birthday

We live in a time now where human rights mean less and less. The most important people we have to protect though are the children of this world and their rights.... to live, to be educated, not to suffer from hunger, to have all the oppotunities for them to fulfill their dreams, to be able to have a family that gives them love, security, support, protection etc.

Children are the once that make this world a better place. When they laugh at something they don't to it because society wants them to but because it was funny to them. Children are honest, humble, caring, curious, creative, adorable, active, funny, passionate, yes they can be little monster too but they have so many attributes that we adults tend to lose over the years of adulthood because society pushes us in a box where we don't even want to be.

The best thing we can do is to help those who can't help themselves. Children are the future! Emma Goldman, an author, once said: "No one has yet fully realized the wealth of sympathy, kindness and generosity hidden in the soul of a child." Children are the mirrors of joy and teachers just through their whole existence if we look closely we can learn more than we would have expected.

My birthday wish for this year (July 15th) is your support for this project. Even the smallest amount will help. I am usually donating the amount all by myself but this year I am asking all my family and friends from all over the world for their support. Let's make this world a little better!
