WITHOUT HOCKEY, I WOULD BE NOBODY!!!

Dear Lovers & Haters,

On the 26th of June 2016, I'm going to run the Hamburg half-marathon. Some of you will say that it is nothing special, but as for me as a "Bewegungslegastheniker," I would love to use this event to collect some donations for a social organization which is very close to my heart.

Bua Sa Hockey Village Indien Foundation e.V. supports children in rural areas in India. The foundation gives children the chance of a better education and, therefore, a better future. Besides eduction, Bua Sa Hockey Village believes in sports. And not just any kind of sport, they believe in HOCKEY.

I'm a passionate hockey player and I have been playing hockey since I was four years old. Because of hockey, I have been able to make many good friends (I would say my best friends) in Germany, Denmark, and Austria. Hockey has taught me many important skills such as team spirit, motivation, pushing my limits, learning to trust myself, and giving back.

In response to all the lessons and gifts that hockey has given me, I want to give back. I would love to use the Hamburg half-marathon to give something amazing to children who should also get the opportunity to experience the same. Therefore, I kindly ask you to donate some money, even if it's only a small amount. Donating money on betterplace.org is safe and uncomplicated procedure. After finishing the half-marathon I'll donate the money to Hockey Village India Foundation e. V..
