Worum es geht
We are running not for fun (in particular André hates running!) but for fundraising!
We want to support a project at Nabushome School, Zimbabwe, which is heavily supported by Paul Ziehl (former Aviation UW at Munich Re - for those who haven't heard his name before). They are building a kitchen and dining room and they need some additional funds for tables and chairs etc.
As the team name indicate the idea was born in a pub in London last year and unfortunately was not forgotten afterwards and we are therefore about to run the Zurich Marathon very soon!
Team "Pub Talk" are:
Anna Smith, Emma Collins, Tony "TJ" Johnston, Flo Köhler - running 42.195km Marathon as a team
Jack Aldrich, Kenrick Aldrich and André Liebkopf - running (at least trying) 42.195km Marathon each
Supporting friends running with us:
Tom Kietzmann (full 42.195km Marathon - carrying André!) and Katrin Willmann for 10km CityRun
We use betterplace.org because:
Donating on betterplace.org is straightforward and secure and without any fees. Afterwards we pass the money we’ve raised on to the relevant aid project.
