The World Culture Festival 2016 is a celebration of The Art of Living’s 35 years of service, humanity, spirituality and human values. Over the years, this work has influenced the lives of over 370 million people in 155 countries, spanning 6 continents.
Be a part of the largest and most spectacular gathering for peace in modern history. The Art of Living’s World Culture Festival (WCF) is inspired by ONE goal – rising together for peace. It is a tribute to the human spirit, as expressed through MANY avenues of cultural diversity.
From March 11-13, 2016, in New Delhi, India you can:
* Meditate for peace with 3.5 million people from 155 countries, supported by group meditations world-wide.
* Experience a cultural extravaganza in which over 33,500 artists from around the globe perform on the world’s largest (7 acre) stage, including:
-- A grand orchestra of over 8500 musicians playing together
-- 30 dance forms, many featuring troops of 1000 or more traditionally costumed dancers
-- Singers, Rappers, Drummers, Whirling Dervishes, Martial Artists, Vedic Pundits, and more
* Be inspired as world leaders promote peaceful programs that encourage cultural expressions of the human spirit to flourish.
Make new friends from far and near, as we find common ground on the basis of mutually cherished human values, and learn to meet the challenges of our time peacefully.
“One Divinity, One Humanity, Celebrating Diversity – This is our sacred duty.” -- H. H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Founder, Art of Living Foundation
Let’s Be a Part of the Change - There comes a time in everyone's life when you want to stand up for what you believe. We all have dreamed about a violence-free, harmonious world. The time to spread peace and harmony around the world has come. And you can join!

Over the years, Art of living has influenced the lives of over 370 million people in 155 countries, spanning 6 continents.
A few common threads run through these varied projects:
Strengthen the individual through breath and meditation-based practices supported by a systemic approach to transforming the ecosystem
Empowerment of local leaders through specially designed leadership programs to work with the community and sustain long-lasting change
Multiple phases of service initiatives:
immediate relief
empowering the mind
mid to long-term sustainability with specific approaches
All the service programs are facilitated by dedicated Art of Living volunteers, taking responsibility for the quality of life of the world and lives around them. The humanitarian values espoused and lived by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar sustains the commitment of these volunteers. He guides with holistic perspectives, inspires a larger-than-life vision of making a difference and personally leads by example in serving society.
