Worum es geht
Dear all,
I am glad to continue the Premier Inn Germany team's tradition of fundraising for charity by participating in a sport event.
After four months of unchanged diet and occasional exercise, I have decided to run the Porto Marathon on November 8, 2015. The race should be enjoyable – for the spectators – as the seaside city is both hilly and breezy.
The fate of the first ever marathoner in ancient Greece spontaneously comes to mind.
If you would like to sponsor my run, I invite you to donate online to Clementine, Frankfurt’s oldest children’s hospital. Currently, they are raising funds for state-of-the-art respirators to improve medical care for premature babies.
You can donate right here, on my Betterplace website. Betterplace.org is the equivalent of Just Giving in the UK. 100% of your donations will go to the hospital. Clementine Hospital is registered as a charity (gGmbH); if you pay income tax in Germany, all donations are tax deductible.
