PLEASE SPONSOR ME TO RUN THE UGANDA MARATHON
I would like to thank you for supporting me for the past 2015 Uganda Marathon. I would like to let you know that I am again at it! And all is set now. I have registered and got my running kit ready to take on the anticipated many runners for a crazy endurance race in Masaka, Uganda – the Uganda International Marathon. http://ugandamarathon.com/
On 5th June 2016 I will be running 10 km of the Marathon and I sincerely hope that my sweat will be worthwhile, and I count on YOU for that!! By running, I hope to raise money for Youth With A Vision (YWAV), our charity that takes care of disadvantaged children and youth in Masaka, Uganda.
Many of the children and youth admitted into YWAV programs are needy, neglected, abused, hopeless and challenged by the prevailing injustices within their society - where dropout rates before and after completion of Primary school are high and so is the poverty rate. Others come from families ravaged by HIV, and some carry the virus in their bodies. These children and youth lack things we consider to be basic - an education and supplies, healthcare, food, employable skills, and a shelter to call a home.
Youth With A Vision works with the local community to provide foster care, protection, proper nutrition, medical care, education and even the most hopelessly sick of these children and youth begin to thrive.
Your generous donation will help to provide basic needs of life and create a bright future for the hopeless children and youth at YWAV.
I have started my training today on 15th March 2015 and I will continue to train solidly for 6 weeks. My goal is to raise at least €5,500 for Youth With A Vision. It is a big sum BUT I believe if all of you my friends support and sponsor me then we will together raise this money.
All your sponsorships will enable YWAV to boost the scholarship fund for the needy children who are often finding it hard to access an education. YWAV will be able to accomplish a foster house which is currently under reconstruction, and to create several Safe Spaces for Girls.

Thank you so much for your kind sponsorship for me to run the Uganda Marathon for Youth With A Vision. Your donation will energize me to run non stop the 10 kilometers, above all, your donation will enable Youth With A Vision to run further the programs that transform lives of the disadvantaged children and youth enrolled in the project. Youth With A Vision is an amazing charity with first hand experience of the hardships disadvantaged children and youth encounter while navigating their life journey.
YWAV works with the local community to create avenues and opportunities for the the disadvantaged children and youth to achieve productive and sustainable livelihoods, through provision of foster care, protection, proper nutrition, medical care, education and even the most hopelessly sick of these children and youth begin to thrive.
However, your generous donation will specifically enable YWAV to;
1- Boost the scholarship fund for the needy children who are often finding it hard to access an education.
2- Accomplish a foster house which is currently under reconstruction.

This is my 4th week of training and I will continue to train solidly for remaining 2 weeks. My goal is to raise at least €5,500 for Youth With A Vision. Your donation has added up and I am short of
€5,300! It is still a big sum to target BUT I believe if all of you my friends and well-wishers support and sponsor me then we will together be able to raise this money and we transform lives to the better.
