JKC fundraising event

Hello and welcome!

A few members from the JKC team in Thailand including Harry Baxter Josh Daymond, Ben Chivers, Stepan Iyathurai, Dale Hunt, Rachel Eriksen, Ploysai Kritchaphakul (Ploy), Natphapasr Sakulrugsa (Pond), Ampa Kaewjamchun (Pla) and good friend Sarah Hansen have decided to take part in the 2014 Rayong Marathon.

We will be taking part in the Mini Marathon of 10.55 kms. For those of you who know us, you will understand how much of a challenge this will be!

We thought it would be a good opportunity to set up a fundraiser!! A friend of the JKC team does a lot of work with Child Protection and Development Center (CPDC) who are in partnership with The Human Help Network Foundation Thailand (HHNFT).

The Human Help Network Foundation Thailand (HHNFT) was registered as an NGO under Thai Law in May, 2008. Their charter is to support children and adolescents in need and fight child trafficking in Thailand and South East Asia.

The work of their organisation is focused on providing homes, education and a brighter future for the orphaned, disabled and street children of Thailand. To meet these goals they operate a network of outreach and rehabilitation facilities and run prevention programs and activities to raise awareness of the need to protect children in need.

We will be doing all the hard work by getting up at 5am on a Sunday and sweating it out in
Thailand's beautiful heat.

All we kindly ask for is any donation big or small as it will go a long way for those who are less fortunate.
