I powerwalk 5K! Give me money (to give to others)!

My dears,

I know these are peanuts for all you fabulous runners, but for me it's the second "5K powerwalk/slow run/whatever the hell I can do to propel myself and not finish last" event and I am very excited.

The "Avon Frauenlauf" race takes place every year (this year on May 10th) to raise funds for breast cancer research. I would like to raise some additional donations and would thus very much appreciate your support!

The organization I have chosen to donate to is called "mamazone," and (despite its name...) it's an empowering grassroots organization of current and former breast cancer patients.

If you have a Euro or two to spare, it would be wonderful if you could donate (and be rewarded with a silly picture of myself, holding a tacky medal and looking extremely happy and shiny).
