Worum es geht
Dear family and friends from Beijing, all China, Reunion island, France, Berlin and Belgium,
I have signed up for the Great Wall Marathon!
Target is to run a half marathon, 21.1 km within a couple of hours. Departure May 17, 3h30am from the Beijing International Hotel. The opening of the Marathon is 6h15am. By running, I hope to raise money for Morning Tears, an amazing NGO that takes care of children who have a parent serving a long term sentence in prison in China and other countries (Cambodia as well).
We are working at the moment on a new Psychological Assistance center in Zhengzhou to better help these children to overcome their traumas. Our goal is to help them be strong, resilient and have their chance like anyone else to build their future. If you want to know more about it, just click on our project down the page ! Uschi, our project manager, is explaining more into details what we are doing and what we need.
I am so glad I can share this with all my Beijing friends and my family in Europe and Reunion !
I want to thank all of you for your contribution to your support to Morning Tears Children !
