Worum es geht
Team-Social-Work is a voluntary community that mediates internships within social commitment/dedication as well as Work & Travel programs to those interested.
Team-Social-Work is different!
We hold that young people who participate in a social project abroad should not pay for the help they offer. Quite the contrary, we try to find enough sponsors to support the work of every teamer.
Interested ones (later on teamer) will not be charged an agency fee and do not have to pay for their placement. Eventually it is you who needs to arrange everything for your very own experience abroad.
Transparency
Our idea of a donation does not solely include monetary donations. It is very important to us that everyone who makes a donation actually knows for what project the donation will be used. That´s why we don´t take “general” donations. Every kind of support will be used for a particular project which will be announced on our webpage. In addition to that we will explain what items are exactly needed. Examples for those items could be cloths for kids, games, books etc. Most of the times it is even more important to make a dontation of cloths or other items.
It will be the job of every teamer to take care that the donations reach their destination and will be used. This makes it obvious that a teamer will need to take more luggage on board of a plane and will need support to finance the expenses of excess luggage.
