Worum es geht
This is all for the project that Elizabeth has set up Helping Uganda Do Business - a project to implement two social enterprises in Uganda so that NGO Mwenya Uganda can raise funds on the ground, while providing employment and training opportunities to local people.
The first social enterprise is a sustainable agriculture project for which the Mwenya Ugandan team will be growing mushrooms and teaching others how to do the same thing. Exeter Enactus volunteers are helping the Ugandan team outsource their mushrooms to hotels and restaurants in Kampala so they can receive a higher price.
The second social enterprise is a responsible tourism day where local people will be employed to provide tourists with an authentic experience of Uganda; cooking courses, drumming workshops, craft-making lessons and a trip to our mushroom farm!
Your donations will be sent to Uganda to help fund the start up costs for these projects. This is a unique opportunity to provide a sustainable future to a fantastic organisation run by dedicated Ugandans.
Thank you for visiting my page at betterplace.org! Donating at betterplace.org is safe and easy.
betterplace.org forwards 100% of all donations. You can even track the use of funds. Not only is
betterplace.org a great way to raise support, but it provides transparency as well, showing
how your donation directly affects the project outcome.
That is why I would be very grateful if you donated to my project now!
Thank you!
