Running back the Mytical favor

The modern Olympics and with that all sports started from the mythical run between Marathon and Athens by Pheidippides who, according the myth, ran as a messenger after the Greek had defeating the Persians. This route from 42,195 meter with 31 km going up hill in 1896 became the base for what we now know as the Marathon.

it was clear I had to run the one and only real Marathon. With 8 year on a roadbike with big races all over the world on the top of my strength, it is after 8 years on the road in the actionsports industry it came to me that it is about time I take the step to become a real man and challenge myself on the birthplace of all modern sports.

Skateistan gives children both boys but even better girls a opportunity to forget the stress of war and terror by teaching them how to skate and by that sometime give them a second of the carefree live we live in the western world.
