Rukia Changawa was born in 01/01/2002 now aged 10. After a few days of her birth, Rukia used to cry all day all night. Because the parents were illiterate and poor, they thoght it would stop crying one day which was not true. Rukia would cry all day all night and her health was deteriorating by the day.At the age of 3 Rukia could not walk or speak a word. This caused alarm not only to the parents but to the neighbors as well.
One day she became very ill which made the parents take her to a hospital nearby by the help of a wellwisher.
Rukia was hospitalised for several days, it was discovered that she has a heart comlexion which needed surgery. It was complex in a manner that she has two openings on the heart. Rukia was referred to Kenyatta National hospital for more check up and treament bt the process was dangerous as the doctors said and also costly.
This year I found Rukia and was moved by her story and supported her to get edcation in our school.
Rukia needs to get good edcation,eat a balanced diet,sleep well and go for check up every month.
